UNIRE grows by 24% and will fill all three pavilions of the Gipuzkoa Exhibition Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n

UNIRE, the trade fair specializing in welding and joining technologies, returns to Ficoba on March 18th and 19th with increased participation. A total of 84 companies have confirmed their attendance, marking a 24% growth compared to the first edition. With this expansion, the fair will occupy all three pavilions of Ficoba, further establishing itself as a key meeting point for the industry.<\/p>\n

Among the exhibitors, international companies from Belgium, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, and France highlight UNIRE\u2019s growing appeal. Welding professionals, buyers, and decision-makers from Spain and Southwest France will have access to a broader range of innovations and business opportunities.<\/p>\n

A space for knowledge: five round tables tackling sector challenges<\/strong><\/h5>\n

UNIRE 2025 will feature a conference program structured around round table discussions, where experts and exhibitors will explore trends and challenges in the field. Topics will include process optimization, generational transition, new inspection methods, digital transformation, and the impact of the energy transition on joining technologies.<\/p>\n

Welding competition: a pathway to the world championship<\/strong><\/h5>\n

A major highlight of the fair is the welding competition, organized by CESOL and sponsored by Fronius, Messer, Fein, Izasa Cientifics, and Nippon Gases. On March 18th, students from 28 training centers will compete in MAG, TIG, and coated electrode welding trials. The winners will earn the opportunity to represent Spain in the International Welding Competition in Essen, Germany.<\/p>\n

UNIRE also serves as a hub for young professionals in the sector. Many training centers, not only from the Basque Country but also from Asturias, Catalonia, and Navarra, have already pre-registered to visit the fair.<\/p>\n
