The Basque Coast also can offer you to enjoy with the best beach infrastructures where you can practice various water sports as well as championships of world- renowned such as the Open Surfing of France that takes place on the beaches of Biarritz.<\/p>\n

Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees, which is one of the most important mountain ranges in Europe. The Bidasoa-Txingudi region is less than two hours away from where you can do one of the most famous winter sports in the world: the ski. From its snowy peaks you can find numerous stations with kilometers of track and all the facilities necessary for the practice of this winter sport.<\/p>\n

Other sport events that take place in this region are the Basque Pelota matches and the rowing races. The Professional Basque Pelota World Championship and the Golden Glove are highlighted and celebrated during the summer on the Jai- Alai Court in San Juan de Luz.<\/p>\n

In the cultural field, the city of Donostia-San Sebasti\u00e1n offers a range of shows such as the Jazz Festival, the Bach Festival, the Musical Fortnight (the oldest classical music festival in Spain) and the International Film Festival as well as performances of theater play.<\/p>\n

In addition, different museums of this capital or close to it open their doors to art in San Telmo, Chillida Leku and the Casa de Zuloaga, science in the Aquarium and in Kutxaespacio or fashion in the Balenciaga Museum.<\/p>\n

For its part, the town of Biarritz calls different activities such as the Latin American Film Festival, the Travel Photography Exhibition, dance festivals (Les Temps d’Aimer) and there is classical music season. Among museums, Mar Museum and Chocolate Museum are stand out for their uniqueness.<\/p>\n
